Health & Homes prioritizes community health by establishing initiatives for hypertension and diabetes management, while also implementing cancer detection & prevention programs for both women & men, emphasizing regular screenings & education.

Current Projects

Mercy Clinic

  • Since 2021, citizens of Ferguson & the surrounding community have access to state-of-the-art healthcare at our Mercy Healthcare Clinic.

Boys & Girls Club

  • In 2019, nearly $12.5 million was funded to develop the Boys & Girls teen center, promoting healthy lifestyles for the community’s youth.

Revitalization

  • In addition, Health & Homes has worked to include additional features like sufficient street lighting & sewer enhancement to improve the overall living environment.

Curb Appeal

  • Plans for infrastructure improvements will include 17 new crosswalks, 12,000 square feet of ADA-compliant sidewalks, and nearly four miles of modernized street curbs & gutters.
